Some interesting facts about champions in recent years

Stay connected for news and updates

1. Since 2003 no team ranked outside of KenPom's Top 25 in both Offensive & Defensive efficiency has won it all.

2. Since 2003 no Pac-12, Big Ten, or mid major has won it all.

3. Since 2003 no team lower than a 3 seed has won it all.

4. Since 2003 no team has lost to the last place team in their conference and won it all.

Now I know past history means nothing, hell Butler was one game away in 2011 from breaking all 4 of those streaks, but if they were all to continue this year, the NCAA champion would be...

Either Florida or Louisville (Both teams are essentially shoe-ins to get no lower than a 3 seed).

And since the Gators are far and away the most overrated team in the country this year, you gotta like our chances based on these facts.

Beat Cincinnati and Notre Dame.
