The most interesting stat to come out of that was something I was unaware of: Duke sucks as a #2 seed.
the Blue Devils fell to a No. 2 and while many will argue what's the big deal, Duke fans might know the difference. This will be the fifth time the Devils earned a 2-seed. In the previous four, they made it out of the first weekend only once and never beyond the Sweet 16.
So only 1 for 4 so far in even making the Sweet 16 as a 2. Might not get that MSU-Duke match-up that people are excited about after all, much less the Elite 8 game vs Louisville.
Other interesting bits about Missouri vs Colorado St being the #1 and #3 rebounding teams facing off, and a lot of other stuff. But the Duke stat really stood out to me.
If history is any indication, we won't get our revenge tour game after all.
