According to Daily Press sports columnist David Teel, the ACC will be replacing the Big East on ESPN's Big Monday time slot.
The move shouldn't come as a surprise given the additions of Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and Syracuse to the ACC and the departure of the Catholic schools from the Big East. Louisville, Temple, Memphis, UConn and maybe Cincinnati are the only schools in next year's TBA conference that ESPN would have an interest in and those schools can't provide enough inventory on their own to justify keeping the Big Monday 7 PM programming slot.
ACC membership can't get here fast enough.
