Louisville Jumps A Spot In Both Polls

A victory over Pitt and a dominating win over No. 25 Marquette only impressed the AP and coaches' poll voters enough to move Louisville up one spot in this week's college hoops polls.

The Cards moved from No. 13 to No. 12 in the latest USA Today poll, and from No. 12 to No. 11 in the AP top 25.

Surprisingly, the teams Louisville defeated last week seemed to receive more love than the Cardinals. Pittsburgh, which received just one vote from AP voters last week, moved into the rankings at No. 23. Not to be outdone, Marquette moved up a spot to No. 24 despite taking a 19-point beatdown from U of L on Sunday.

Indiana is your old, new No. 1 team in the country, claiming 58 No. 1 votes from the AP and 25 from the coaches. No. 2 Florida was the only other team to receive a nod for the top spot. Michigan, Duke and Kansas round out the top five of both sets of rankings.
