In order to get geared up for this year's Depaul Day, I thought someone might be intrested in superlatives Depaul Day #1 and #2 of 2012 (that's right, we had 2 last year).

Depaul Day #1 (1/14/12) Russ took 22 shots from the floor (he only hit 10, but that's okay, we still love that guy!). Gorgs grabbed 14 rebs and had 4 blocks, while Siva added 7 assists and 6 steals. Somehow some way, UofL eeked out a 27 point win. The highlight of the day was Rakeem Buckles hitting a 3 (in what would tragically be the last shot he took at the Yum! Center).

Depaul Day #2 (2/18/12) 13,000+ saw UofL spot the Demons a 10 pt halftime lead and then intentionally miss several shots down the stretch just so we could enjoy Depaul Day for 5 extra minutes after regulation. Kyle Kuric hit 5 of 10 3 pointers and finished with 25 pts. Dieng had 8 rebs and 5 blocks, Siva had 6 assists and Russ grabbed 6 steals.

The 25 point totals for Russ and Kyle were tied for #2 for most points scored in a game by a Cardinal last year. (Russ is only 25 pts away from 1,000 for his career)

Now I would like to look at this year...since Depaul Day is sort of like Christmas for us I would like to ask:
