As you probably know, Nerlens Noel suffered a pretty nasty knee injury tonight in Kentucky's loss to Florida. Shortly after the injury happened, Twitter user @ked1126 (who, according to her bio, is a Syracuse native, St. John's alum, and reporter for the Auburn, NY Citizen), made a joke which, we can all agree, was in bad taste:

There was also a tweet by user "@TruUKFan" that has since been deleted, which read "Cunt. Hope u and ur Mom get breast cancer and die u filthy whore."

Yes, the joke was in bad taste, and yes, the fan base was worked up because their best player was possibly just lost for the year. But there is no reason for the tweets full of hatred, racism, sexism, and wishes of deadly diseases. You think they'd wish AIDS or call her a C-word to her face? Doubtful. Twitter tough guys and gals here. @ked1126 has since locked her account.
