Perhaps that catch on the low block about five feet to the right of the basket, you know the one, when Gorgui gathered, faked his man into the air, took one dribble to create space followed by a hop-step to get to the rack and ended with an emphatic slam, you all remember it; showed some scouts that there's more than defense to ole Gorgs. Either way, for I believe the first time in his young basketball career, the young man's name is appearing on draft boards.
We've seen Russ's name thrown around on these things and just chalk it up to people noticing the hustle and bustle that follows the Russle, but I pray we can hold on to Gorgui one more season. I don't know how good Mangok is, but I know he'd better be backing up Dieng, and not starting at the 5 for us. Zach Price certainly doesn't seem to get it, and Akoy Agau isn't going to be big enough, or strong enough, to be a serviceable 5 for any realistic amount of time. Stay true Gorgs, momma wants you to get that degree.
