Several cryptic tweets from Chane Behanan indicated that he was leaving the University of Louisville.
This was follow up by a confirmation tweet from the Kenny Klein, Director of Media Relations.
Head Coach Rick Pitino gave a press conference today at 13:30pm where was quoted as saying "Unfortunately, is ending on a bad note for us personally," head coach Rick Pitino said. "Chane Behanan has been dismissed by the university from our basketball team." Pitino goes on to state how he "went to the mat" for him and that he has set the team back immensely. "We lost a really terrific man in many respects," head coach Rick Pitino said at a press conference. "Away from the lines, he just did not do the right things, over and over and over. The university has gone to the met for him, in giving him every opportunity to make it here. It's come to a difficult detour in his road. It's set our basketball team back immensely." Apparently this is a University policy that has been violated. There is no word if it's the same policy that was broken that lead to his initial suspension.
Unfortunately this is a sad way for Behanan to go out. To quote Rick Pitino "We're all let down by this"
