Cards football: season TV ratings

According to this site (www.sportsmediawatch.com), we averaged a .9875 rating for our 8 nationally televised games this season. No doubt the bowl game will up that average. It was good for 47th in the country, which given our horrendous schedule, is not all that bad.

The biggest winners were our games vs. Ohio, UK, UCF, Rutgers, and UC. No surprises there. Our worst rating came in the Houston game, which drew a 0.2. Without that game, we would have drawn a 1.1 avg rating nationally. Also, considering all of our games were non-ABC,CBS, NBC games, it seems we actually outdrew the average for ESPN/FOX telecasts.

Anyways, here are the links

Next year, we will likely have at least one prime time Saturday game on ABC or NBC (Miami, FSU, Clemson and ND are the likely candidates), depending on our record.
