The 25 Worst, and 11 Best, Non-Conference Basketball Opponents Since 2003

Andy Lyons

A very handsome and wise man wrote a post looking at the 30 worst non-conference opponents Cincinnati has played under Mick Cronin. I thought that it would be fun, I don't know what fun is, to do the same for Louisville under Rick Pitino. The numbers are from Ken Pom. Unfortunately the 2002 season, Pitino's first, is not on the free part of Ken Pom. So going back to 2003 is as good as it gets. That's a pretty large sample. At worst, looking at this list is better than thinking about the North Carolina game anymore. It'll also be a little reassuring. Maybe.

25 Worst

  1. 343 - Chicago State - 2011
  2. 337 - Fairleigh Dickinson - 2012
  3. 335 - Cornell - 2014
