From the archives

Yesterday I happened to be in the photo archives in UofL's Ekstrom Library. I was accompanying my dad while he made copies of some photos they had of his old neighborhood. While I was waiting for him, I discovered an interesting book on the history of UofL. I snapped a few pictures of some of the pages from the athletics section while the receptionist wasn't looking. I thought some of you may find these interesting so I decided to share them here.

A slogan I think we may have to adapt.

The ever sought after undefeated season. Celebrated by a trophy full of heads?

The band is only slightly larger now.

If you're interested, here's the book I took theses pictures from. It looks like they have a few copies available to check out. I'm not sure how rare this book is, maybe some of you already have it. I found a copy on Amazon and a full preview on Google as well.
