And it continues.
Charlie Strong landed his second commitment from Trinity High School in as many days when class of 2014 quarterback/athlete Reggie Bonnafon pulled the trigger on Sunday.
Since his freshman year, Bonnafon has been a pretty hot name locally. He justified that talk last summer by shining at both the Ohio Nike Camp and the Elite 11 regional. Those performances led to some increasingly heavy pursuit by a number of national names, and ultimately a scholarship offer from Louisville.
Long considered to be a Louisville lean, Bonnafon spent the vast majority of his junior season at Trinity playing wide receiver while three-year starter Travis Wright took the snaps from behind center. He figures to return to his natural role as signal caller for the Shamrocks this season.
The 2014 recruiting class is loaded with Division-I talent at the quarterback position. Bonnafon will have his chance next year to prove he's the best of the bunch.
