It has been said you are the company you keep so let's review. The following list of schools comprises some pretty good football programs: Alabama, Boise State, BYU, Florida, Florida State, Kansas State, Miami, Michigan State, Texas, and West Virginia. The commonality? Every one of them lost the last time they played UofL.

Here's another list of pretty good programs: Florida State, Louisville, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia. These are the only programs that have won the Fiesta, Orange, and Sugar Bowls.

I'd say we are in pretty damned good company.
