I don't profess to be any sort of offensive genius, and I know pitino likes to use a simple pick and roll offense. However, watching Georgetown and some other teams played the last week, I've noticed how effective the back door can be when teams press out on the perimeter. We never use the back door. Anyone know why we are incapable of doing that? Is it a conscious decision to try to keep the floor spread properly, are our players not savvy enough to pick the right time to do it, too slow, something else??
