Why we shouldn't worry about Seton Hall game

And it's only fitting I make my return to FanPost after a questionable performance from last night. I want to start off by saying that I watched "End of Watch" last night, easily the craziest movie I've ever seen. Now, back to basketball. After whatever basketball it looked like we were playing last night; after Seton Hall scored 15 straight points from the FT line, after Seton Hall hit a big three to tie the game on us, i didn't feel like we were in anyway threatened. I try and convince myself that and as crazy as I am, I believe whatever I tell myself. Come on now you think if we really really wanted to that we could easily take care of Seton Hall with no issues? I think Rick was just being nice to Kevin Willard and didn't lay that Rick Pitino D on him to keep it an entertaining game for Coach Willards sake. Keep in mind that last sentence was a bit homosexual, but I aint got no worries. The big story of the day is that we were without star Sophomore Chane Behanan and had to settle with Trez which really isn't a bad go either. Just some wide open jumpshots Trez missed that dare I say it would have had a better chance of going in if that was Chane shooting. Also look at Russ, I mean RUSS. He didn't have his Russ game yesterday he had more of a Peyton Siva kind of game. Everytime Russ had the ball it seemed like he just wanted to get some assist on the stat sheet. He didnt look Russdiculous on offense like usuaall. I think that he wanted to try playing like the 1 guard that game because he did some sick passes. If Russ Smith really wanted to score like we usually see him, you dont think he could of easily put up 25 on Seton Hall? I just think he sat down and said 'let me give someone else a try this game' and tried to be more of a distributer rather than a scorer. As for that, I hope Russ doesn't get too comfortable with trying to pass first because I like the 'Shoot till you drop' Russ better. And as for that, thats where I end this post. Its been a really inteRUSSting season so far and I honestly do not want this to end. This is possibly my favorite Card team ever, and when every player on this team does what they are supposed to do, there is no doubt in my mind that we will be hoisting up that Championship in April. BTW: If you havn't seen "End of Watch" you need to.
