I remember it like it was yesterday. Krag was coming into his 4th game as the coach at UofL, and the defending Orange Bowl champions were coming off of a disappointing loss to Kentucky, But UofL fans were ready to get big east play underway against a BAD Syracuse team and get an easy win. At Least we thought it would be easy. Louisville came out totally flat and let Syracuse score on the first play which was a hail mary pass. UofL fans were absolutley stunned. Syracuse continued their dominance throughout the whole game and ended up coming away with the victory ending one of the longest home win streaks in the country. UofL fans were disgusted with what they saw that day and it was only the beginning. I just wish that I could go back to that day now and tell myself, Hey man, its alright. In 5 years, You will be Sugar Bowl Champions your coaches name will be much better than Kragthorpe, it will be Strong. and your quarterback? His name is Teddy, and he can throw a football.
