Louisville head coach Rick Pitino announced during his pregame press conference that sophomore forward Chane Behanan is doubtful for Wednesday night's Big East opener against Providence because of the flu.

The timing couldn't be worse for Behanan, who gave a tremendous 20-point, seven-rebound performance in U of L's 80-77 win over rival Kentucky on Saturday.

Pitino noted that himself, assistant Kevin Keatts and freshman Mangok Mathiang have also been dealing with the illness. He did not mention that Mike Rutherford has, but he has, and it's awful.

"We're a little under the weather right now, and our practices have not been good," Pitino said. "I hope it's not a long bug."
