Going into the season opener against UK, it was unclear who UofL's starting running back would be, and in the end it didn't really matter. After a disappointing campaign last year Jeremy Wright showed what he was capable of, but more surprising to most fans, was the play of Senorise Perry (most of the talk in preseason was about Brown and Wright). Perry was a valuable tool for the cardinals last year on special teams, but only carried the ball 12 times for 27 yards. He took full advantage of Brown being out on Sunday, ending the game with over 100 yards (more than 4 times his total for last year). This years Louisville team may not have a "star" running back this year, but Perry will definitely be in the mix. Thanks as always for looking, and let me know what you think.
