Just heard on the "four letter network" radio show that Mike Marra "blew out his knee" in practice today. He didn't redshirt last season, so his career is essentially over.

It's very unfortunate for the young man. Good kid.

Though he never turned into "the greatest shooter" Coach Pitino had ever seen, he helped us win some games. At Syracuse and a great Big East tournament game in 2010, come to mind.

I guess that also leaves another scholarship open for next season.
