What's up with Devante Parker

Something that I've noticed the past two weeks, but that I have not really seen discussed anywhere is the lack of Devante Parker in our offense. I know that Parker was not targeted in the second half against Missouri State. Furthermore, I'm fairly confident that he didn't even play in the second half against Missouri State. During the Mizzou St. game it didn't particularly bother me because I figured he must have gotten banged up during the first half. And when there wasn't any injury news related to Parker last week, I figured it must have been something minor that they were simply taking precautions on. However, against North Carolina, Parker was on the field, but he did not catch a pass. I may be mistaken, but I don't even remember him being targeted by Teddy during the game. I'm pretty sure we all expected Parker to be a pivotal part of our passing game this year, but he has been conspicuously absent the past two games. To me, there are only three explanations: (1) Devante is slightly injured, meaning that he's not performing at his max level; (2) Devante is in the doghouse; or (3) Teddy has been taking what's available in the passing game and Devante simply wasn't open. I'm hoping for option three. The only problem with option three is that Devante has shown that he's one of those receivers who doesn't have to be "open" in order for him to make a play. He's the type of receiver that you script into your gameplan to just throw it up to 2 or 3 times a game so that he can make a play. Hopefully he has a big game against FIU and this is a moot point. But I feel like it's something that shouldn't be completely ignored for the time being.
