Thoughts: Keith was one of the trio of linebackers that capped the 2012 recruiting class. While I personally had more interest in the Nick Dawson story line, Keith is just as big a get for the Cards, if not bigger. Brown comes out of Miami as a four star linebacker who seemed to always make a mark no matter when he played (high school, All-American game, etc). The accolades go on for days and days, but obviously all that gets tossed out the window when you take the field at the Division-I level. Bedford has been high on Keith since he stepped on campus (way back in January) and he has played himself into the second string "Mike" linebacker position behind Preston for Kentucky. I would be stunned if Keith doesn’t see the field on Sunday and many more Saturdays after that. I know Preston, George and Daniel have proven themselves enough to warrant the starting gigs, but Keith appears to be a special talent and was getting plenty of first team reps in practice. I have made one prediction this whole countdown in regards to future awards which was calling John Miller a future All-American. Add Keith to that list.
Potential Nicknames: "Kebro" (Sounds cool to me), Any of the other Brown nicknames
Today marks one day until the Cards kickoff the season against Kentucky. On May 26th I started this countdown with Jamaine Brooks, honestly not knowing how long I would be able to keep it rolling. While I enjoyed working on these all summer I really appreciate all the feedback and support they received. It would have made it a lot harder to complete if I felt like nobody was interested or if they were never getting any comments/posts. A big thanks to Mike for throwing these on the front page as well, it made me want to keep cranking these out day after day. So, after 100 days of me throwing out summaries like Teddy gonna throw TD’s I’ll leave you with this….Go Cards, Beat Kentucky.
