#27 Jermaine Reve
Class: RS Freshman Ht/Wt: 6-0/188 Position: Safety Hometown: Miami, Fla
Louisville’s Take: Red-shirted last season
Thoughts: Jermaine took a well timed redshirt last year, in my opinion at least. The coaches appear to want to groom him into a finely tuned strong safety. We’ve got a pretty damn good safety this year in Hakeem, so taking some pointers from him the last few years probably hasn’t hurt. I’d look for Jermaine to fill that role along with Kamal Hogan when Hakeem starts playing on Sundays. The buzz around Jermaine was his closing speed and great tackling ability. I’m looking forward to seeing how he does this year and what we have waiting in the wings at safety for the next 3-4 years.

#27 Mike Addesa
Class: RS Junior Ht/Wt: 5-11/214 Position: Linebacker Hometown: Brandenburg, KY
Louisville’s Take: Played for four years under Larry Mofield at Meade County High School ... three-year letterman ... team's offensive MVP as a senior ...
Thoughts: Mike came to the Cards from Union College (Learned about the Teamsters and UAW Local 862 I’m sure). Listed at linebacker now, I know Mike also played some wideout in high school and at Union. I’d be surprised if Addesa got a ton of game action this year, but his talents are important as I’m sure he’ll push the other guys to try and earn himself a spot.
Potential Nicknames: "Magic Mike"
