Russ Smith featured quite a few times on the Ken Pom Blog today, but not for reasons you'd hope for. Seems Russ Smith was top of the list for Worst FG% in 3 different categories...under 6', 6'-20' and 13'-20'. In fact, Louisville had 3 players in the bottom 5 for mid-range (6'-20') jumpers (Russ, Siva and C Smith). Bottom line, we sucked at shooting the basketball last year and Russ chucked up a TON of shots and didn't make a great percentage. Under that bottom line, a foundation of Cardinal Fans who love Russ Smith, 100% of the time.
