Cards Earn First National Ranking Since 2007

For the first time since Steve Kragthorpe's debut campaign, the Louisville Cardinals will begin a college football season nationally ranked.

U of L earned 105 points from the AP voters to earn a spot in their preseason poll at No. 25. The Cards eked out No. 26 Notre Dame by 22 points.
