Louisville/Kentucky Flashback: The Greatest Cardinal Football Call Of All-Time

Don. Russell.

As cool as this memory is, it's also sort of a reminder of how far the program has come in a relatively short period of time. I mean, we threw a fit about the Battle for the Governor's Cup only being on ESPN Classic a few years ago when it's barely been a decade since WDRB was the only outlet willing to air the game.

Also, I'm pretty sure if Louisville beat Kentucky on an overtime touchdown these days, the crowd inside PJCS would be just a tad more excited than it was back in 2000.

The program might not be where we want it, but there's no question that it's a long way from where it was.
