#33 Grant Donovan
Class: RS Sophomore Ht/Wt: 6-1/227 Position: Long Snapper Hometown: Louisville, KY (Product of Male)
Louisville’s Take: Accurate long snapper who moves into starting role.
Thoughts: Grant saw time in eleven games last year but if you’ve not familiar with Grant, that’s just fine with him. In the role of "long snapper" it’s probably best that no one remember your name, much less your play on the field. I’m sure being in the role of "I hope my name isn’t in tomorrow’s paper" can get old, but it is definitely a skill to be a long snapper. Playing solid ball for Coach Redman at Male surely helped propel him to this opportunity. Congratulations to Grant for the fact that I don’t know too much about you. Keep up the good work. In your spare time you could always make a video like this…
Potential Nicknames: "Access Grant-ed", "Grantland"
#33 Jordan Streeter
Class: RS Freshman Ht/Wt: 5-9/165 Position: Defensive Back Hometown: Florence, KY
Louisville’s Take: (No Notes Provided)
Thoughts: I couldn't dig up much information about Mr. Streeter. Coming out of Ft. Thomas Highlands, Jordan was a well polished running back who lacked a little size, but had some speed. The Cards list him at DB, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him get a few reps at RB if the depth chart took a hit.Even though RB is deep this year, keep an eye on him to possibly become a frequent contributor over the next few years. I would imagine some of his skills would translate well to the gunner position or some other aspect of special teams so Coach Kenny Carter may have a Plan B available if needed.
Potential Nicknames: "Doodlebop" (I typed in Streeter in Google and line two was "Streeter Doodlebop". Sorry Jordan, fate has made the decision)
