#37 Tyon Dixon

Class: RS Sophomore Ht/Wt: 5-11/211 Position: Linebacker Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio

Louisville’s Take: Contributed on special teams as a true freshman... will work at linebacker this spring... needs to continue to learn the defense.

Thoughts: Tyon saw action in five games last year as a special team’s player. Tyon actually committed to the program under Kragthorpe and maintained his commitment when Strong took over the role. (Hey Tyon…surprise! We’re good again!) Tyon will be fighting many other talented individuals for PT at the linebacker spot, but could work his way into another role outside of his special team’s success. With the freshman still learning the system, Tyon could see some time on the gridiron early on.

Colerain (Tyon’s high school) has a pretty sweet logo as well….

He probably had some real comfortable clothes with the Colerain logo and thought he’d just stick with that look another four years. I know I would. Now excuse me while I go grab my ‘No Fear’ t-shirt and Surf Style jacket from the laundry.
