#41 Stephan Robinson
Class: RS Sophomore Ht/Wt: 5-10/170 Position: Wide Receiver/ (Cornerback) Hometown: Louisville, KY (Product of Central)
Louisville’s Take: Added depth in the secondary last season... used his time to develop his skills ... has outstanding speed ... emerged as a candidate for playing time in the fall after a solid spring ... can also return punts ... moved from wide receiver to defensive back.
Thoughts: Robinson has moved around quite a bit over the last few years. Last season Stephan was a nice addition to the secondary, grabbing eight tackles and forcing a fumble. This year, after a good spring, it appears he will be moving back to the wideout position, adding some more depth at the position. At 5-10 and 170lb he’s smaller than"Scotty Scholarship", but he’s got speed to burn. He may end up being our #3 or #4 wideout this year before it’s over. It will also be interesting to see where he fills in on special teams. He was being used on the punt coverage team during the spring, which is most likely where he’ll stay, but the punt return team could potentially utilize his speed as elusiveness as well.
