Yes, that's a real thing that really happened today on Rick Pitino's blog, which is also a real thing that auto-plays synth-rap tracks.
The 3 questions I am most often asked in recent months:
1. The future of the BIG EAST? leadership, leadership, leadership would be my answer.

Dave Gavitt's vision could be carried out by one man that has come to the necessary way of thinking towards the future. That man is Jay Bilas. I would take a portion of the Syracuse and Pittsburgh money, give him a 5 year contract and pay him 2 million per year. He has charisma, knows T.V., has a legal background, outstanding presence, and a creative thinker. He would be a grand slam.
Yup, we laughed at the suggestion, too. But then we saw tweets from national media members that weren't completely dismissive of the proposal, were reminded of Pitino's oft-mocked campaigns to add Temple and Memphis to the Big East and had to concede that however unlikely it is, never underestimate the power of Bloggin' Rick. Synth-rap beats can be very persuasive. Almost as persuasive as a former Duke basketball player channeling Jeezy on Twitter.
In the evolving conference landscape, maybe the Big East needs a football guy in charge, whatever that means, but I can certainly think of worse hires than Jay Bilas.
