Former Cardinal and current Atlanta Dream star is one of five players who were nominated for the Best WNBA PLayer ESPY, ESPN announced on Wednesday.
McCoughtry currently leads the WNBA in scoring at 22.6 points per game, and in steals at 3.55 per game, while ranking third in blocks per game (1.27).
Fans will select the ESPY winners by voting online at ESPN.com/ESPYS. The 20th ESPYS will be broadcast live on July 11 from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Other finalists for the award are Minnesota's Seimone Augustus, Indiana's Tamika Catchings, Connecticut's Tina Charles and Phoenix's Diana Taurasi.
McCoughtry, who was inducted into the Kentucky Hall of Fame earlier this summer, finished her career at Louisville as the school's all-time leading scorer and rebounder. In 2009 she averaged 23.1 points per game and led the Cards all the way to the national championship game.
