#68 Kamran Joyer
Class: RS Junior Ht/Wt: 6-3/285 Position: Offensive Line Hometown: Tampa, Fla
Louisville’s Take: Coming off a solid spring where he received much-needed snaps at offensive guard, but injuries slowed him ... big, strong and athletic player who brings toughness to the offensive line.
Thoughts: Things have moved pretty slow for Kamran at Louisville. Unfortunately for the young man he has dealt with injuries throughout his career. After redshirting back in 2009 and then missing all of 2010 with a foot injury, Joyer finally saw some action last season against Murray, UK and Marshall. Shortly thereafter though, a knee injury ended the year for Mr. Joyer once again. You have to feel bad for the guy, only seeing action in three games over the last three years. Here’s hoping he can finally fight off the injuries and be a contributor on the team this year. On the plus side, Coach Watson actually said he has been pushing Miller in practice pretty hard, making each player that much better. Good luck KJ, we’ll be rooting for ya.
Quick side bar….so, trying to pay homage to Kamran I do a quick image search on the Google for "injury bug" and this is the first image to come up…
Good lord man! Kind of makes an ankle injury look like a paper cut.
