According to Drew Deener, Stephan Van Treese is once again a member of the Louisville basketball team and will play for the Cards in 2012-13.

Van Treese had previously announced on June 6 that he would be transferring. It was a move that widely believed to have been made in order to make room for newly-signed freshman Montrezl Harrell. That became unnecessary when Rakeem Buckles announced last week that he was headed to Florida International.

If true, Louisville now sits right at the maximum of 13 scholarship players. This is assuming incoming freshman Terry Rozier is declared eligible before the start of the season.

It seems like this is a move that will make the fans happy, the players happy and SVT happy.
