According to the folks over at Big Time Yurts, Lamar Advertising called them back today and stated that they have had a change of heart and are willing to put up the "Lexington is for the Birds" billboard.
The billboard is set to go up on I-64 westbound close to Frankfort.
Congrats to those guys and everyone else who worked to make this happen.
Also, I'd say the Headquarters deserves at least 0.003% of the credit for this. Magical things happen there.
