It's already been a big AAU season for Louisville commit and Ballard star Quentin Snider, who was reportedly the star of stars at the Spiece Run N' Slam Classic over the weekend.
Snider, who "stole the show" according to Scout.com's Evan Daniels, led the Louisville Magic team to a perfect 8-0 record and a championship in the 16-and-under division.
Snider was named a "breakout star" by ESPN's Dave Telep. The recap is subscription only, but thankfully Jody Demling has the most noteworthy deets.
"When Louisville accepted his commitment, it was viewed as good news but not celebrated. I submit it's time we give this pickup its due."
ESPN went on to say, "He's advanced his game, grown his confidence and continues to distinguish himself as one of the best in his class at his position."
Snider, a sophomore who was named first team All-State this past season by the Courier-Journal and second team All-State by the AP, will now be able to sit back and watch himself soar in the various sets of recruiting rankings.

Congrats to Quentin on a big start to what looks like could be an even bigger summer.
