#94 Lorenzo Mauldin
Class: Sophomore Ht/Wt: 6-4/240 Position: Defensive End Hometown: Atlanta, GA
Louisville’s Take: Versatile player who made an impact in a variety of roles ... moved from defensive end to tight end during fall camp ... moved back to defensive line prior to Connecticut game to add depth... good athlete who can develop.
Thoughts: Lorenzo really came on late last year, grabbing a tackle in each of the last three games since he was moved back to the defense side. Coming in as a three star recruit there was some promise with this young man and it appears that Lorenzo could have an opportunity to get some more PT this year. I’d look for big things from Lorenzo as the season progresses as long as he stays healthy. (P.S. Thanks for the Championship ring photo earlier this week Zo.)
"Players wear shades just to stand on side of me
Folks say take that ring off boy ya blindin' me
All day my phone ringin' bling bling bling
Can see my ring from a mile bling bling "
Potential Nicknames: "Lorenzo the Magnificent", "Big Zo", "Maulin’ Mauldin"
