The Louisville softball team has been named the No. 15 overall seed for the NCAA Tournament and will host a regional this weekend at Ulmer Stadium. This is Louisville's ninth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance and the third time the Cards have served as a regional site host.

Should the Cards advance out of regional play, they would next face the winner of the Tuscaloosa regional, which is headlined by second-seeded Alabama.
