Here's the full release from U of L about the big brains on the Cards.
While the University of Louisville football team is coming off a BIG EAST championship and its second straight bowl appearance, the Cardinals have excelled in the classroom as well.
Grades have been posted for the 2012 UofL spring semester and 37 of the Cardinals achieved a 3.0 or better grade point average. The team produced a combined 2.76 GPA for the semester, the highest ever for the Cardinals under head coach Charlie Strong. The football team owns a cumulative GPA of 2.78 and had a total of 19 players also make the Dean's List.
The Cardinals had two players post grade point averages of 4.0 and 73 of the football student-athletes earned a 2.5 GPA or higher during the spring semester. Strong will have seven of his players receive their degrees when U of L hosts graduation at the KFC Yum! Center this Saturday.
Can't confirm it, but I'm told Teddy Bridgewater got a 5.6.
