The next illustration up is a little change of gears with some football. It also isn't a current football player, but Cardinal great and hometown hero Brian Brohm. Brohm lead the Cardinals to one of the most exciting seasons of football that I can remember, and was a big reason I started to care about Louisville Football. Brohm's career as a Cardinal didn't just earn the program national respect, it also gained Mr. Brohm his fair share of accolades. He was named C-USA freshman of the year, Big East Offensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All Big East QB, Heisman Trophy Finalist, and Orange Bowl MVP. I know that I'm not alone when I say that Brohm is my favorite UofL football player, he will always be a Cardinal.
