CRP on The Dan Patrick Show

I'm not sure how many people knew about it, but Pitino appeared on the Dan Patrick Show this morning. You can find the interview here. It was a pretty good interview, mostly about why he seems so loose now and how badly the players want to win this game.

Also revealed during the show, one more piece of bulletin board material. Dan works closely with Sports Illustrated and always reveals the current week's cover before it hits newsstands. This week, SI will have regional covers for the Final Four. Great, right? We'll get an all Louisville cover of SI. Sorry, only three regional covers and only one team from the Commonwealth gets one. I'll give you three guesses which team that is and the first two guesses don't count. Of course their contention is that it's merely a regional issue, but Dan made a good point: Why not make this region's cover a picture from when they played earlier this season, including both teams?

I mean, I get it, this year's UK team is the best basketball team to step on the court since the '95 - '96 Bulls (~), but you'd think we might get a little respect from these national news outlets.

No worries though, I know we'll get a national cover all to ourselves next week.

Go Cards! Beat UK.
