Here is how it breaks down

Congrats to the Cards for a good year. They have met the pre-season expectations and made the Final Four. The fans should all be very proud of these accomplishments! However, the season ends here.

U of L just can't keep up with the Cats in scoring. UK is averaging 85 points per game in the Tourny while U of L is averaging 66. While the defense from U of L is good, it isn't enough to make up for that discrepancy. Plus the Cards just don't have answer for MKG, but hardly anyone does.

Plus Uk rebounds the ball too well. U of L has a total of 121 rebounds as a team in the Tourny while Davis, Jones and MKG for UK has a total of 108 by themselves. If Behanon can't get second chance points then you can cut his production in half from what you have seen to this point.

Also, look at the blocks. Davis has 175 while U of L has 189 as a team on the year. You are taking the toughest defense that U of L will see all year with the most high power offense they will face and it is just too much for them to overcome.

It isn't as if U of L cannot win, because they can win, but the probability of it happening just isn't on their side. Good luck on Saturday, but UK will be victorious and march on to win the title.
