Like many of you, I've followed this site religiously this season, digesting every morsel I could from our hardworking Mr. Rutherford and his minions. In doing so, I've noticed that the "spread" almost always seems to be dead on, in fact, when picking my tournament bracket, I thought I'd be a shoo-in to win if I had the spread for each and every possible matchup and used that to make my choices.
When I read that MI State is favored by 4.5 I felt a sense of dread until I realized that undoubtedly Marquette was favored over the Cards in the BE Tournament.
This then led to the obvious question, what other games did we win when not favored, and by how much did we beat the spread?
Who sets the spread, how is it done? How accurate has it been this season in relation to Louisville basketball? How serious do I take this "no pants" thing if we beat State? Where will I keep my gun, cuffs, radio, pepper spray etc.? Will Infra-Russ levitate right out of the stadium when we win?
I have serious questions people!
Go Cards, beat State.
