The key 3 game stretch
I will be honest going into last nights game I wasn't sure what to expect. I could just as easily see us winning and losing that game against UCONN. It was very key to start off this 3 game stretch with a huge win though. Of course the haters are going to say UCONN isnt even ranked in the top 25 but they have a SOS of 1-3 (depending on where you look) and their RPI is right at 21 so they were far from a push over.
The most important thing is now we have 4 days off before the game in Morgantown which I would bet my house on will be an adventure in some shape or form seeing how we ALWAYS get screwed there. Being able to play UCONN's top 5 defense (it was in the first half) will certainly help prepare us for the WVU tough physical play that we will see on Saturday. Prediction of how we get screwed this year: Siva has a steal but some how the ref is 'conviantly' in the way and Siva loses control of the ball out of bounds.
Then of course we are home for yet another quick turn around to play Syrcause who, lets just be honest, we have owned the past few years. This Syracuse team will be a bigger challenge than those in years past. Not only are they the class of the Big East but I think they are the best team in college basketball. But I think Angel Nunez will be the X factor in this game like Marra was a few years ago. They will focus on C Smith and Kuric so we will need Russ 'I never met a shot I couldn't make' Smith and Angel to shoot well that day. My bet is we take between 30-35 3 point shots that game.

As much as i would love to see NUNEZ PLAY!!!
It probably wont happen too much unless we get a comfortable lead. Or we he comes in for a minute or two to give someone a breather. Zach price will probably get the nod before Angel. Which is sad considering the kid can flat out shoot. We all witnessed that again last night. But yeah WVU will be a chanllenge their pretty big as well which is scary. But i think we play them close if we can escape breaking even over the next two games i’m happy
Obviously, not being at the teams practices, we really don't get a chance to see what he can do. But the kid seems to have...
1. a sweet shot
2. terrific range
3. great length
4. lots of energy and enthusiasm.
Given these four points above, I am very excited to see him develop and am looking forward to a very bright future – for him AND us.
Go Cards.

Hey Angel/Card fans, how about this?
In an effort to recognize Angels future great play, and in homage to the great film, “It’s a Wonderful Life”, how about all fans bring a small bell to the game and ring it whenever Angel scores makes an otherwise noteworthy play.
Just like in the film, “a bell rings, every time an Angel makes a play”, or something like that. I wonder what the opponents would think to hear 20,000 bells ringing after one of those 30 foot 3’s?
Thoughts?

great idea
It would bring a whole new meaning to home court advantage.
Pretty good Idea, but
it would take several games for the word to get out/etc. There aren’t 20000 readers of the Chron. YET!
GO! CARDS!
BEAT!
PURDUE!
Gotta admit, I still don't get it. What JD reference?

Seriously, an entrepreneur could set up a booth inside/outside the Yum with an explanatory sign and make some serious coin.
3,000-5,000 bells at about $3 each. Not bad.

IF I WERE TO BE THERE FOR A GAME
I’D BRING A JACKET FULL OF BELLS AND SHAKE MYSELF UP EVERYTIME HE SCORED. #TEAM PLAY NUNEZ
