U of Ls Chane Behanan mimicks a hometown star Danny Fortson of Cincinnati

Danny Fortson played power forward for Bob Huggins and Cincinnati for 3 years from 1994-97. Fortson was drafted in the first round by the Milwaukee Bucks in 1997. Danny Fortson went on to play for 10 years in the NBA. He was a McDonald's all American in 1994 and was a 1st team NCAA all American in 1997. Danny Fortson was a typical player for coach Huggins. Danny was naturally strong and a beast in the paint and he could score and rebound at will. Danny Fortsen was 6'7 260 lbs and he was a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court. From 1994 to 1997 the bearcats were conference champs and went to the elite 8 in 1996.

Ironically ULs Chane Behanan grew up in Cincinnati watching coach Bob Huggins and Danny Fortson play. Chane is also a big bodied 6'6 250 lb big bodied power forward who can take over a game. A powerful and strong player that can score and rebound like a man amongst boys in college basketball games. Chane also a McDonald's all American has stepped his game up lately for UL. You can see it in his eyes he has got something to prove. Growing up in Cinci as a young athlete he looked up to a successful well coach Cincinnati program with NBA stars like Danny Fortson. Thats why you can see it in his body Language and style, that he has mirrored his basketball Image of NBA star Danny Fortson.

Chane's future looks bright with the guidance of hall of fame coach Rick Pitino and as long as he continues to allow his dreams, love of the game of basketball and his god given talent to carry him to the next level he will have a lengthy career as a professional basketball player . But most important for the University of Louisville Chane's college career will go down in history because he has all the makings of an NBA super star. His childhood icons created a blue print for his success just as long as he follows through.

My apologies for spelling Chane Behanans name wrong

I wrote this article in a hurry……you will also notice several other errors . Like I didnt capitalize a couple sentences And at the end the last sentence was also a type o. Lol I can relate to the mis spelling of names. My name is Shayne but Ive seen it spelled mostly as Shane but Behanan spells his name like Chane so I know he gets his name spelled wrong all the time. So I seriously doubt he’d be offended.

Thanks....I typed this article on my cell phone.....

I wasnt aware that you could make corrections after you publish. So what you think? Is Chane comparable to Danny?

He's always reminded me of Rodney McCray

Yeah I can see Chane as another McCray

Rodney also played for U of L and won a championship. He was a small forward though and was only 220 lbs and had a little more lenght. The reason I depicted Chane as a Danny Fortson type player is because Chane is from Cincinnati and both are power fowards. But I can see a correlation to both NBA players. I guess if I say Chane Behannan is like Rodney McCray, I could also say Kyle Kuric is similar to Former UL player Jeff Hall and Gorgi Deng is very similar to Pervis Ellison. Lol well damn we got a team full of 1980 -86 type player we should win a Championship. Now we’re Talking
