Watching Rick Pitino this morning on the Court Side he said we would be saying goodbye to Swop, Chris and Kyle. So is this where Swop gets pushed aside? I don't know the inside scoop, but it sure sounds like the kid got injured and know he is being told to move along. I guess I'm a tad frustrated by the past few years of dashed dreams, what could have been and wait till next years. I suppose the scholarship was needed, but will the recipient deserve it anymore than Swop? I see a kid that has started to show glimpses of what he had as a freshmen, how about you?
I don't know about you, but I sure thought that we would have more to show for the past 10 years. Granted it has been much better than the last 7-8 for Denny, but I'm starting to get the same feeling that I had then. Every year it is gonna get better, but somehow flames out. The fan base and the school has worked too hard for too many years to accept mediocrity. With the facilities and history UL should be a perennial power in the tourney, I thought that's what we brought Mr. Pitino here to ensure. Well this turned into more of a rant than I wanted, so I ask for your indulgence.
