"The athletic department spent $28.7 million more than it generated in revenue in 2011, according to a report released Wednesday by the university. Rutgers diverted $19.4 million from its general fund and $9.3 million from student fees to cover the shortfall" Dude, even at New York prices, that's some serious coin. Who do they think they are, congress?
