Some discussion has come up recently among Louisville fans on Gorgui possibly being a 3 year player and I was wondering if he would make an impact in the Cardinal record books. After doing some research, I realized that he is very close to bypassing "Never Nervous" Pervis Ellison for the most blocks by a Cardinal in a Single-Season. Gorgui currently has 90 blocks this season, already passing Ellison's sophomore record for 82 blocks, but he needs 13 more blocks to break Ellison's single season record of 102. If Gorgui also keeps up his 3.3 BPG, then he will also set Louisville record for the most BPG by 0.1, another record held by Ellison. With only four games left in the regular season and Gorgui averaging 3.3 blocks per game, I believe he is going to do it. What do you think?
