Everybody on most of the other message boards are wondering why Kuric wasn't in the high post against the zone last night. While during the game i wondered this myself, Afterwards I realized Pitino had no choice but to leave Dieng in the middle. If Kyle had gone to the high post we wouldve been forced to go to a 4 guard line up which would have got us killed on the boards. If Pitino had sent kyle to the middle we wouldve been left with one shooter on the perimeter(C5) and without a guy over 6-7 on the floor because no way in hell do you take Chane out of the game during the second half. So keeping Dieng in the middle of the zone was the only thing we couldve done besides make free throws which is easier said than done on national television, infront of 22,000+ fans against the #2 team in the country regardless of if your playing at home or on the road.
