Yeah, he has to not hesitate and just take it

If he missed the first 5, he might make the next 5. If they sag that much, he has to just take it (or drive).

And he is usually very good at that mid range jumper. Just wasn't his night for that shot.

And didn’t he take about a 20 footer on the very first possession and miss it? Not the way to start out.

Mental errors

The only solace I find is that the reasons we lost that game can be fixed. We lost because of mental errors and the fact that the team isn’t content with being close, but are very upset about it makes me hopeful. And with Blackshear becoming more and more familiar each practice and game, this team will be hitting on all cylinders come tournament time and make a deep run.

I have a man-crush on Mad Rick

If he applies that intensity to the rest of the season, we’ll win out. Go Cards!

Talk, talk, talk

How about rebound, hit free throws , and take care of the damn ball. Should have been win number 8 in a row last night. We better win out cause there’s no one batter than us on the remaining schedule. Stop talking Rick and kick some ass!

It is part of his job to talk, this has been covered

Next best step is for fans to stop telling him not to talk.

Oh Rick...

Don’t get too excited about (fat) Wayne? Oh it is far, FAR too late for that.

After the heartbreak of this a loss like this of course we are going to turn our attention toward a bright spot like him. DePaul day is coming up, and thus, so too is his homecoming. Add in the fact that he didn’t get too many minutes against Syracuse and I think there is a perfect storm for crazy fan expectation. Its a lot of attention and pressure for a freshman to handle, so I can’t blame coach for wanting to protect him. But we want SO BADLY to see what kind of dynamics and personality he brings to our team.

I expect nothing less than a blowout in favor of the Cards for DDII

Can’t wait to see FW take someone off the dribble and provide some showtime for the mass number of Cards fans in the crowd. I think it’s time for DD threads to start. (Looking at you Rutherford)

"The only thing that's gonna erase this bad night is to beat em up there."

That was not a conditional statement, that was a plan. Mark it down.
