The bad news for Charlie Strong and U of L has been minimal today, limited to only the semi-expected news that defensive tackle DeQuan Ivery has signed with Miami.

Ivery, a three-star DT from MIami, committed to U of L in Dec. but had appeared to be wavering in recent weeks after visiting The U with some friends. He was a guy that Strong and company really liked and who could have competed for playing time early on in his Cardinal career.

Also noteworthy is that linebacker Patrick Jean, who committed to Louisville in Sept., has signed with Florida International. Word from both sides seems to indicate that this was more about the number crunch with U of L's class than it was Jean going back on his commitment.
