Let me begin by stating the obvious: I'm a Kentucky fan, but I'm not here to troll anybody. Congratulations are absolutely in order for Louisville's move to the ACC. That's awesome for you all.

My question SRSLY YOU GUYS is whether there's any possibility that UofL will be adding varsity men's lacrosse now that they're heading for one of the best lacrosse conferences that ever existed. Lacrosse has taken Louisville and Oldham County by storm, and I think it would be awesome if Jurich et al. looked into it. The only NCAA D-I alternative locally right now is Bellarmine, who doesn't play all that fun of a home schedule. If UofL added the sport, I'd gladly go watch the Cards take on UVA, Syracuse, Duke, or UNC. The athletics department is flush with cash and is about to get flush-er (not a word but work with me here), so I'd have to believe the funds are there. Anyone got any insight on the issue?
